The History of John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital
Donations to The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation are accepted in the spirit of Martha Tenny Williams, who in a courageous move to bring about specialized, safe, and sanitary pediatric medical and surgical care purchased property at 219 Bryant Street in Buffalo, New York on September 6, 1892. This began the areas first and only hospital dedicated exclusively to children.
