Scarborough Project Graduation
Scarborough Project Graduation is a non-profit, 501©(3) volunteer run organization in Scarborough, Maine which raises funds to provide a drug and alcohol-free post graduation celebration for every graduating senior. Our seniors look forward to this last big event as a class. Graduates load buses immediately after the ceremony, and along with adult volunteer chaperones, are taken to location(s) where food, activities, entertainment, door prizes, etc. are provided free of charge.
The primary aims of Project Graduation activities are to increase awareness of the dangers of drinking, drugging and driving and to reduce the number of alcohol and other drug-related incidents. Project Graduation is much more than an event that occurs on graduation night. It is a community-wide process that strives to create a caring, supportive and safe environment between youths and adults. It is an opportunity for the community to give our graduating seniors a wonderful memory and build a tradition for underclassmen.
In order to provide a free and FUN event for our graduates, the expenses of Project Graduation are covered by community, local businesses, parents, relatives and friends. As you shop today, remember that 100% of the retail profit from your purchase goes directly to Scarborough Project Graduation. The event costs $100+ per person and this year’s class has 253 students. We are grateful for your support!
